Recently I seem to have had quite a few children’s books to work on. I love this type of work, because it really gives me an opportunity to be creative. I’ve been working with some very beautiful images – some from professional artists, other hand-drawn by the authors themselves, and some commissioned through us at Honeybee Books. The ability to play with the layout, and to use colour and font to create something really unique is great fun, and knowing that a child or grandchild is going to be totally awe-struck when they receive it is very special.

Quite apart from the ability to short-run print, the blossoming of digital technology, and the ease with which we can now collage text, images and photos guarantees some truly wonderful results. Keep your eyes open here for details of all those books which will be available on Amazon soon!
