Great day today meeting the wonderfully talented illustrator Charlie Sutton. We’re working on a book together for a client at the moment, ‘Heavenly Adventures’, about the adventures of a Dandelion seed head. Charlie is having great fun drawing the main character, as well as dinosaurs and time tunnels and all sorts of other exciting things! It’s really great to be able to work with an up and coming artist like Charlie, and be able to watch her whole process from sketches to final paintings. It looks set to be a really beautiful book, so watch this space for details of the launch next year.

In the meantime I’ve persuaded Charlie to turn one of her own pet projects, an animal alphabet, into a beautiful little children’s book with accompanying rhymes. I can’t wait!
